A little walkthrough of your Student Dashboard, every menu, badge, and payment step, so you always know where to click.

Getting Started

When you log in as a student, your dashboard opens on the Overview page by default.

The screen is split into three areas: the Sidebar on the left holds your main menu; the Toolbar across the top gives you navigation, an address bar, and search; and the Content Area in the middle is where each page you choose loads. A thin status bar along the bottom confirms your connection.

The Toolbar

Navigation buttons
Back and Forward move through pages you've already viewed in this session, just like a web browser. Refresh reloads the current page if something looks off.

Address bar
always shows the name of the page you're on.

Search box
searches for text within the page you're currently viewing. Type a word and press Enter; matches are highlighted in yellow and the page scrolls to the first result.

Toolbar & search

To clear a search, just delete the text from the search box, highlights disappear automatically.

Several menu items show a small red badge with a number, a quick signal that something needs your attention. These update automatically every few seconds.

Choosing & Paying for a Plan

If you don't have an active plan yet, a plan-selection screen opens automatically when you log in. Here's what happens step by step.

Pick a plan

Choose the package that suits you and select "Get Started."

Get your banking details & reference

You'll see the bank name, account number, and a unique reference payment key generated just for you. This reference must be used on your transfer so your payment can be matched to your account.

Make the transfer

Add StudyPlug as a beneficiary in your banking app, enter the account number, use your reference key, and transfer the exact amount shown.

Confirm you've paid

Click "Done" once the transfer is complete. This lets us know to expect your payment.

Wait for activation

Your plan activates automatically once your payment is confirmed, this usually takes 60 to 360 minutes.

Always transfer the exact amount and always include your reference key, payments without the correct reference are harder for us to match to your account.

Plan Status Messages

Depending on your plan's status, you may see one of these screens when you log in.

Pending Payment

Your plan has been selected but payment hasn't been confirmed yet. Your banking details and reference key are shown again so you can complete the transfer.

Expired

Your subscription period has ended. Select "Renew Plan" to continue where you left off.

Canceled

Your subscription was canceled. Select "Subscribe Again" whenever you're ready to continue.

Change Layout

From Preferences- Change Layout, you can switch between two dashboard styles: File Explorer, the classic sidebar layout with icons, or Modern Web, a card-and-gradient design. Pick your preferred style and select "Apply Layout" to save it, the page reloads to apply your choice, and it's remembered the next time you log in.

Mobile Use

On a phone or tablet, the sidebar is hidden by default to save space. Tap the round menu button in the bottom-right corner of the screen to open or close it.

Troubleshooting

A page won't load or shows an error
click Refresh in the toolbar, or use the retry button on the failed page.

You're redirected to the homepage unexpectedly
your session has likely expired. Log in again.

Badges aren't updating
they refresh every few seconds automatically. If a number still looks wrong after a minute, refresh the page.

Your payment isn't reflecting
activation can take up to 360 minutes after you click "Done." If it's been longer than that, contact support with your reference payment key.
