Owen Muhluri Ndimande is a seasoned Full Stack Software Developer and passionate technology educator based in Johannesburg, South Africa. With over seven years of professional experience and more than a decade of coding since 2012, he has built a reputation for delivering impactful software solutions, leading development teams, and empowering the next generation of technology professionals through mentorship, lecturing, and tutoring.

Founder Biography

Owen Muhluri Ndimande
Founder

Owen Muhluri Ndimande was born at Majosi Hospital and raised in Madobi Village, located in the Vhembe District of Limpopo, South Africa. He began his educational journey at Madobi Primary School before completing his secondary education at Jaji High School, where he discovered his passion for technology, innovation, and problem-solving.

After completing high school, Owen pursued a web development course while providing ICT support and technology services within his community. Driven by a vision to use technology to improve education, he founded StudyPlug Africa, an educational technology platform dedicated to connecting students with quality tutors, digital learning resources, and opportunities to develop future-ready skills.

Recognizing the need to strengthen his technical expertise, Owen enrolled at Rosebank College, where he studied Software Development. In 2024, he graduated with Distinction and was recognized as one of the top achievers in his programme. Throughout his studies, he continued delivering ICT training, tutoring, software development, and educational support while collaborating with schools, businesses, and community organizations.

Today, Owen continues to work with schools, companies, and educational institutions by providing software development, ICT training, lecturing, tutoring, and digital transformation services. Through StudyPlug Africa, his mission is to empower learners across Africa by making quality education, digital skills, and innovation accessible to everyone, helping build the next generation of African leaders and technology professionals.
